Lotus set to release entry level track 2-eleven race car!

Group Lotus plc unveiled the first glimpse of the eagerly awaited Project Eagle at the 78th annual Geneva International Motor Show. This exhibition showcases part of the advanced technology being utilised for Project Eagle and the latest development of the innovative Lotus Versatile Vehicle Architecture (VVA). Lotus reveals first teaser image for new Project Eagle sports car!
Lotus is about to change everyone’s thinking when it comes to plugin electric vehicles. The APX Lotus concept shown at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show will go into production in the not to distant future under the ZAP-X brand. It’s an all-wheel-drive all-electric crossover with an extremely lightweight aluminum chassis. It’ll go from 0-60 in 4.8 seconds and all 644 horses are delivered by in-hub electric motors. Even more amazing is the new advanced battery management system that delivers a 350-mile range, and only takes 10 minutes to recharge! Lotus introduces limited Elise 72D at New York Auto Show
Rollcage experts Safety Devices just sent us the latest photos of their new Lotus Elise Series 2 Motor Sport cage. This particular cage is designed for K-series engine Elises but they’re working on a version for Toyota engine cars too. It’s a 6-point bolt-in cage built to latest regulations and smartly designed to give Elise owners minimal compromises in standard vehicle operation, including full seat movement, no dash modifications and the hood can still be used.
